An update from site: Plashet Road (Earth Day 2022)
This Earth Day, we are focusing on our Passivhaus development at Plashet Road in the London Borough of Newham.
Our work here will see 65 affordable rent apartments provided for the local community.
Plashet Road is being built to Passivhaus standards. Passivhaus is a leading low energy design standard, and is a highly effective way of providing high standards of comfort and health, as well as reducing energy use and carbon emissions from housing.
Bugler Developments CEO Andy Bugler says, “We are pleased to be amongst the small number of UK homebuilders providing new housing in compliance with the innovative Passivhaus design standard. Our environmental impact and delivering sustainable homes are at the forefront of all our construction activities”.
Meanwhile, an update on latest site activities comes from Project Manager, Kieran Brown. “We are progressing well on site with level three slab now complete and already commencing with level four slab. The first section on level four is due to be poured from 27th April. We’re expecting the RC frame to be complete in early June too.”
