MSc students from the University of West London visit Bilton Road
Bugler Developments is proud to have a long-standing relationship with the University of West London, and recently welcomed students for a site visit at Bilton Road.
The students, studying towards their MSc in Construction Project Management were talked through the aspects of the development, from Bugler Directors Jeremy Graham, James Chell and David Culliton. They then were given the opportunity to walk around the site, observing first hand aspects of the build and interacting with the site team.
Students from the day said, “It was a great experience, we learnt a lot from the visit”; “We had a better understanding of new build projects and the tour helped to see all build details on site”; “I learned about what kind of risk assessment strategies we should follow in pre- and post-construction”.
Dr Mahtab Farshchi, who leads the course, said “As one of our valued industrial collaborators Bugler Group offered our students a great opportunity to visit this residential development. I’m personally indebted to James Chell and David Culliton for sharing their knowledge and experience with our MSc Construction Project Management over the years.”
Jeremy Graham, Operations Director at Bugler Developments said, “It was a pleasure to host students from the University of West London on a recent site visit at Bilton Road. Outreach is an important aspect of what we do at Bugler Developments, and these Masters students were provided with a real life insight on the intricacies of developing housing in London. They were proactive in asking questions and contributing to the day, and we wish all the students the very best as they progress with their studies, and thank them for their enthusiasm on site”.
Thanks to all who joined us from the University of West London and we look forward to collaborating with you again soon.
