Celebrating completion at Windsor Close
The Bugler Developments team celebrated the completion of homes at our Windsor Close project, a social housing scheme providing 43 new modern homes for social rent in Borehamwood.
The completion of the final phase of the project was celebrated by an event attended by local stakeholders including the Leader of Hertsmere Council, Cllr Jeremy Newmark, and Cabinet Member for Housing and Housing Development, Cllr Alan Matthews, along with senior teams from Hertsmere Council, and Clarion Housing Group.
The completion of the new Windsor Close homes is an important milestone for addressing the demand for affordable housing in the area. Replacing 39 derelict properties, the development delivers a range of three-bedroom houses, and one- and two-bedroom apartments for local families.
Andy Bugler, Bugler Group CEO said, “On behalf of the Bugler team, we were delighted to celebrate completion of Windsor Close alongside our client, Clarion, and Hertsmere Borough Council. We are proud to have delivered much needed social rent housing for the local community, and hope that incoming residents spend many happy years in their new homes. It was great to work with Richard Cook and the team at Clarion on this development and we hope to continue this relationship into the future.”
Richard Cook, Chief Development Officer at Clarion Housing Group, said, “The completion of Windsor Close is an important milestone for Hertsmere and for our mission of providing affordable, quality homes across the country. This development demonstrates our strategy of not only delivering modern, sustainable, and affordable housing, but also fostering a sense of community and stability to residents who call Windsor Close home.”
